December

Again, not a lot of great pictures. We didn't even get to see Santa this year we were sick so much. :/ But we still had fun seeing family and celebrating Christmas!

We were able to go see the lights at Temple Square. We had to make it quick, because when Ethan was on my dad's shoulders somehow there was a diaper malfunction and he peed all over them both. Ha. So we saw the lights, and quickly left for new clothes and a shower. :]

My favorite thing we discovered last year was a live nativity at a family farm up here. We went this year and it was even better than I remembered. Ethan loved petting the sheep, and the donkeys. We were able to listen to the program for a minute, and then one of the Wisemen invited Ethan up to see the baby. It was the sweetest moment. (We're pretty sure he just walked up there to see the "baby" and was totally confused why we were all making such a fuss over a doll, but I got the coolest picture so I didn't care.)

Every year my aunts used to get together and make dozens of batches of cookies for a cookie swap. My mom really wanted to do one this year, so her and my sister drove up to Logan and we spent the day making sweets. We missed my grandma and my other sis, but we had fun doing it and hopefully we will get to do it every year now! Ethan loved it as well, and Caitlyn learned all about baking wtiha  toddler. :]

We're so lucky to have Eric and Maddi up here in Logan with us. They are Ethan's second set of parents and do so much for us. (Seriously, they get half the blame if Ethan turns out crazy. :] ) They gave Ethan and Troy this super awesome car for Christmas, and it was toy number 1. Still is. We love them and love getting to hang out with them.

A big snow storm jumped our Holiday travel plans up a day, and mom was stressed about it. We decided to put everything off and have a fun family night before we joined up with the craziness of Christmas with both our families, so we made some treats, Troy built us a fort and we watched the Grinch together. It was definitely one of my very favorite things we did.

Christmas Day.

Pizza making tradition.

Ethan absolutely loved sledding. He was super brave and went down the bigger hills on his stomach every time. He loved it. We loved watching him get to really enjoy the snow for the first time too.

Mom and Teeka even joined in!

Ethan's first snowman

This is my favorite picture. Ethan loves this little dog so much. He sometimes pokes her eyes and forgets to be nice to her, but she loves him back just as much. It is so sweet watching them remember each other every time we visit and how much they look out for each other. (Teeka always gets extra treats when Ethan's around, and they make a good Lucky Charm eating team.) We love this dog and just wish someday she could come to Logan with us.

Also, here is our cute Christmas card picture we never got around to sending. Oops.
