December.

Here is our December.

Grainy pictures under the Christmas Tree.

We started to get a little restless, so we took a little mini vacation to Ogden to swim in a pool and hang out in a hotel.

Our windowsill has become Ethan's favorite new place to play.

Yes, this was in December.

Our annual trip to the Live Nativity. It's our favorite thing to do every year, and this year we went with friends!

The special Santa Storytime at the Library. This was the closest either of my kids would get to Santa this year. It was a win for me.

Ethan became obsessed with board games.

We did something so special this year. (Yes it was a little crazy, and didn't go perfect but it was still a really great time) but I decided months ago that I really wanted to take our kids to a local nursing home and visit with the people there and do fun things with them. I have the fondest memories going to the home my Aunt worked in, and doing Valentine's dances and other parties there. I want my kids to have memories like this, and realize the importance that being kind to others is. This made my day, and Ethan had such a great time. He didn't understand, and we weren't there very long, but I hope that it will have an impact on him, as we try to make this a tradition for many more holidays that will stick with him for a long time.

Troy's work had their Christmas Concert with the band, American Authors, and it turned out to be a lot of fun!

Gingerbread houses with our faves.

I'm not sure how it happened, but I got lucky enough to get my grandparents advent calendar that we used when we were kids. My kids LOVE it. It is so special to me to have in our house now. :]

For Christmas Eve, we decided to stay in Logan and celebrate with our own little family. Unfortunately both kids were a little sick, so we had to cut out a lot of fun activities, but Ethan still had fun drinking out of our fancy glasses, making cookies for Santa, reindeer food and using our paper doll Nativity scene to learn about the true meaning of Christmas.

Ethan got to decorate his own ornament this year, with Utah State stickers, since it was his first year as a season ticket holder.

CHRISTMAS.

Hudson really loved our Cinnamon rolls.

Ethan thought the chocolate ice cream bowls that Grandma made were super cool.

This year, we have been married for 5 Y E A R S. Time has flown by.

We spent our anniversary at the Fun Park, winning Ethan tickets. Then we ate pizza for dinner.

Awesome cousins.
