Nine.

Nine months old.
And let me tell you, I can't wait for the baseball thing to be over. It's great, but holy  it's a pain. It now takes two people, and you literally take what you can get, so don't judge the cell phone camera picture of my child, whose clothes are falling off. It is not an accurate reflection of how we care about our child. :]

About Ethan at 9 whopping months:
*Crawls like crazy. He is moving beyond crawling actually. We have a walker thing, that he pulls himself up and goes goes goes. Until he runs into something.
*Ethan is standing on his own. He has even taken a few tiny baby steps before getting tired. It's not long before he walks!
*Ethan loves to eat. His favorite food is probably peaches, and bread. But he will eat just about anything. And that is sometimes not safe. :]
*He is such a ham. He has learned to make this "cheese" face where he squints his eyes up and smiles at you, totally cheesy and totally fake.
*Ethan wants to be just like the big kids. He will follow the big kids anywhere they go, and do whatever they do.
*Ethan still loves Yo Gabba Gabba. He smiles and dances whenever it is on TV. He also loves the Lorax, and has recently discovered Sesame Street. He just likes all the music. He has great dance moves.
*Ethan loves to be outside. He loves to ride in the car, and talks as we go. He has recently (weather permitting) also found love for being in the stroller and chats all the way around the block.
*He has mastered going up stairs. In our new place (pictures to come) we have stairs and it only took him about a week to figure out how to get up those bad boys. Going down, he can't quite figure out. But he is at least aware there is danger there. Kind of.
*He loves books. He has a touch and feel animal book, and he thinks every book has things to feel. Sometimes it makes reading a battle because he smacks the books around, be he loves it all the same.
*Ethan still loves the bath. He has learned that water on his face is kind of cool, and sometimes dips his face in a little too far. He just laughs now.
*Ethan is sooo busy. The kid doesn't sit still for a second. He is up, down, around, up the stairs, on your lap, off your lap, in the kitchen, in the bathroom. It's really no wonder these pictures are so difficult to take. Kid is unstoppable.
*Ethan is doing great after his surgery! We went in for an appointment a few weeks ago. They took him off of the antibiotic, and said everything was looking as they expected! So we are glad about that.
*He has such a personality, and not a day goes by that both Troy and I say, "Man our kid is freaking awesome." Because, he really just is and we love him for it.
